Hands Up Podcast 013 now out

Life has been BUSY but the podcast is back. Episode 13 is up available for download.
November and December have proven to be very exciting. In November I had to a change to go to Japan with DJ Not Ted. We checked out some awesome clubs in Tokyo such as Womb, Warehouse and Eleven. There was lots of dancing and little sleep.
When I got back to Vermont, I did four days of radio shows around Thanksgiving. I will post those shows shortly. Lots of good music there.
After that Gonter and I hosted N3RD FORMAL 2.0 at Club mU and it was even better than the first. People came out in full nerd gear and we danced until dawn with Gonter, R2, Kuato and myself playing tunes.
A few days later R2 and I played at Half Lounge at a show we called Danger Zone! We’re both huge fans of the cartoon Archer, which is where we came up with the title for that.
Moving on to more party fun, a whole slew of people came out Friday night to celebrate for my Birthday (and my friend Sarah too!) at Club mU. It was insane as always.
In between at the action, I’ve been working with Craig Mitchell to begin a host of web projects for Slanted Black Records. I’m working on a new website for them now and we will be off and running soon. Slanted Black will be dropping some amazing tracks soon and will now have a web presence on par with the sound. Keep an eye out. I will be posting more about that soon.

Hands Up Podcast 010 now out

Hi everyone,
So I finally got around to doing the tenth episode of the Hands Up Podcast. My motivation has been seriously lacking but I’ve found a renewed sense of energy now that fall is here. You’ve probably also noticed that I’m updating this site quite often. It’s all good stuff!
So here’s the deal with the podcast; whether you like it or not, I’m going to do a lot more talking in the podcast. I want to get away from only providing what is essentially a mixtape. There are TOO many mixtapes out there already. My goal is to create a weekly show that comes out Thursdays and has info on what’s going on that weekend in addition to the music. Ultimately I want to feature listener shout outs, interviews and other cool stuff.
Since it has been so long since my last show, I felt I needed to get something out the door. I chose a mix that I recorded this summer. I lost the track list but was able to remember some of the tracks. The titles and cover art for those can be seen in the enhanced version. If I can figure out the other tracks, I’ll be sure to post the info.

Hands Up Podcast 009 and the latest news

Wow, spring is flying by. I’ve been playing some sort of gig every 2-3 days! It’s been a busy month but I’m looking forward to a slower month for May. My plans are to spend a lot more time doing production, getting back on the radio and focusing on the podcast again. These plans could all go out the window as soon as my phone starts ringing with people offering gigs. Who knows? 
Some of my favorite moments DJing occurred in the last month. There was the Vernal Equinox Party at Club mU. I’m still amazed by how fun the party was and that it went off with out any problems. We will be hosting the next round of Club mU parties in May. This time it’s going to be lounge style. It will be toned down but still filled with amazing people.
Last month I played outside of Burlington for the first time in quite a while. Chia and I drove down to Dartmouth and did a gig with DJ Shar4 and Skyler. It was a benefit for Chile and a really cool venue. Afterwards, Chia and I bounced down to catch Craig Mitchell at Rise for after hours. It was a great way to finish the weekend.
